Impact Council members are C-suite executives from some of the most impactful global companies and founders of some of the world’s most innovative startups.

While there are no pre-set requirements to be accepted to the Impact Council, there are a number of areas that our editors evaluate to make sure each member is a good fit. These areas include, but are not limited to: the career trajectory of the leader, his or her influence inside their company and industry, and his or her influence in the broader business, social, and cultural conversation. Most members are CEOs, founders, corporate executives running large divisions, or household names in their fields. The leaders in the council reflect Fast Company’s editorial emphases on technology, design, creativity, social impact, and leadership.
In order to ensure that the Impact Council is as diverse as possible, membership requests are also weighed against existing members to make sure that we have enough variety in role and industry.
